I have to agree with you. Mainstream music, all of it, sucks as hard as it can. I don’t really know why is he classified a rapper.
And don’t listen to DaNNNger, listen to what you like, not what someone else tells you.
I tend to classify all of that mainstream garbage (including one-hit wonders like Soulja Boy and Iyaz) as pop-hop.
Lil Wayne is ok and making beats, but I agree. In my opinion he is HORRIBLE. You cant understand him at all because he sounds constipated when he spits his flow. All his songs are about money, sex, and girls..I mean people get tired after hearing the same thing time and time again. His songs dont tell stories, their just weird, and his voice annoys the crap out of me.
Emimen is a rap legend. So dont hate him. His songs tell stories, hes easy to understand, easy to relate to and its not all about the money, sex, drugs and girls. Hes an all around better rapper than Lil Wayney poo to me (:

Lil Wayne and Eminem both have talent i think we all have to admit that. I prefer Eminem over Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne does try to appeal more to mainstream lsiteners because thats the music that sells nowadays. Thats why artists like Eminem work with Rihanna and Lil Wayne because it sells records. Im not calling Eminem mainstream or anything, he just made a smart business move to work with Rihanna because look at how well Love The Way You Lie did. He didnt even have to release it as a single and the day it was released it was one of the top ten selling songs.

Wayne has talent. And although Eminem is amazing there was a point in time in which he also rapped about dumb/pointless stuff, like making fun of pop stars.
