They are doing a duet, but I am sure the song was not "Hit Me Baby One More Time". It was a joke..
I think they are recording a song that was originally going to be for Rihanna, but the producer thought a duet would be nicer. Expect this song to be over popularized on the radio in a few weeks. :/
