first of all – if you can do more than 100 sit ups – you are doing them wrong.
second – you have to have very low body fat percentage to get your abs showing (most of people already have six packs but only few have them seen for the rest of the world) which you achieve by healthy diet (5-6 small meals a day) and cardio (4-6 times a week for average of 45min)
Sit ups probably won’t do it. Crunches or other ab exercises work much better.
it depends how fat u are.
you don’t need to do a thousand. a hundred to two hundred is plenty.
If you start with 1000 situps a day you’ll likely cause extensive damage to your organs and muscles. Start slower and work your way up. Lift weights as well, it all helps.
After you stop, what then? Start with fifteen in the morning, fifteen in the evening.
Forever, because you’ll injure your back and end up not able to exercise at all. Get real. Choose sensible, realistic and healthy activities and eat good food choices.
Well if your overweight simply doing sit ups and crunches won’t work. Spot reducing does not work, the way to lose weight is watch your diet and excercise. A good calorie burner is interval cardio.
BTW overworking your abs can cause a weakness in the abdominal wall which in return increases your chance in having a hernia… Just thought you would like to know since you were thinking of doing 1000 situps a day.
yes
i start from 25 sit up a day to 50 then 100, 150, 250, 400 to 500 sit up a day for 2 month. start slowly.i got my 4 pack in just 3 month plus. now i maintain them with 200 sit ups a day. i’m also a girl and i hope you get your result
depends how fat u re. this girl doesn’t have any unusual stomach – no six pack i see. she is just thin. so lose weight and u will look like it even without that many sit ups or crunches
Um, concentrated, weighted exercises are they way to go. Quanity over qaulity. If you want bulk, do LESS reps, with MORE weight, and mix it up from week to week so that your body doesnt platue, and you stop seeing results.
I agree with the first person, it’ll work, eventually, I do the crunches( half sit ups), and the butterfly flutter, which you lean back on your elbows, and bend your knees up and flutter(kick rapidly) and the one that I love best, the push up, but with your legs on the bed.
